About the Foundation

We conduct activities with participation of animals for people with disabilities and for children and adolescents in difficult life situations or with problems in social relations. We specialize in conducting canine-assisted therapy. We also co-create therapeutic programs with guides of other animals (e.g., horses, alpacas).

Our projects

The projects give us the opportunity to implement innovative ideas for activities involving animals. In this way, we support the rehabilitation of people with disabilities and the development of children and young people. Read about our most important activities. Commercial offer

We want to popularize animal-assisted therapy as a method supporting rehabilitation, education, activation, as well as therapeutic and psychotherapeutic activities. It remains the main goal of our initiatives. We organize sessions with the participation of animals (e.g., canine-assisted therapy, alpaca-assisted therapy, equine-assisted therapy) dedicated to, i.a., people with disabilities.

Canine-assisted therapy

Canine-assisted therapy is an individual activity with a psychologist with the participation of a therapy dog. The goal depends on the needs of the participant - determined at the first meeting. Classes can be in the form of psychotherapy, social skills training or support for child’s development. The dog acts as a motivator - its presence provides tension relief, improves mood, encourages interaction and converstion with the therapist; the animal accepts and teaches empathy.

Social skills training with animals

Surrounded by nature and animals, participants perform exercises to develop social skills. The training includes 10 basic skills: making and keeping friends, listening, asking questions, saying no, initiating conversation, discussing, responding to criticism, expressing criticism, dealing with feelings (distinguishing and expressing feelings), saying and receiving compliments. Animals motivate to cooperation, provide a topic for conversation and help express emotions. The training is conducted by two therapists (a psychologist and an animal guide).
